Magnachip expands automotive MOSFET lineup

News
40V MXT MV MOSFETs feature compact form factor and low gate threshold voltage

Magnachip Semiconductor has released four new 40V MXT MV MOSFETs designed in Power Dual Flat No-Lead (PDFN) 33 packages for automotive applications.

The PDFN33 package reduces the area by more than 60 percent and the weight by approximately 75 percent as compared to 40V MOSFET products packaged in PDFN56.

Among these new products, three models—AMDV040N029LVRH, AMDV040N036LVRH, and AMDV040N042LVRH—are distinguished by their low gate threshold voltage of 1.8V, according to the company.

MXT MV (Magnachip eXtreme Trench Medium Voltage) devices are part of the company's latest portfolio of 40~200V trench MOSFETs.
