Taiwan Semi introduces AEC-Q101 grade MOSFETs

News
New line of small-signal MOSFETs adds to range of automotive-grade devices

Taiwan Semiconductor, supplier of discrete power electronics devices, LED drivers, analogue ICs and ESD protection devices, has introduced a new line of AEC-Q101-qualified, small-signal MOSFETs.

The ten new parts add to the company’s offering of TQM family MOSFETs that meet the AEC-Q101 global automotive standard for reliability.

The new devices are offered in N-MOS or P-MOS and in single- or dual-channel configurations. All come in industry-standard packages and provide leading >2KV ESD withstanding capability. In addition to automotive applications, these small-footprint MOSFETs are ideal for high-reliability commercial designs requiring automotive-grade levels of protection.

Typical applications for the new TQM line of AEC-Q small-signal MOSFETs include switching circuits, high-speed line drivers, low-side load switching, relay drivers, amplification, automotive infotainment systems, and the latest driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The trench-designed MOSFETs are all manufactured in Taiwan Semiconductor’s IATF 16949-certified facilities. Additionally, they meet J-STD-020 (level 1) for moisture sensitivity, are halogen-free, RoHS compliant and PPAP (optional).

Sam Wang, vice president of Taiwan Semiconductor said: “TSC’s online support tools make it easy for engineers to find the most suitable part for their designs. Just filter by ‘AECQ’ when selecting from our vast line-up of TQM family MOSFETs.”
