Magnachip starts production of slimline MOSFETs
Expands slim form factor range with PDFN88-packaged 650V SJ MOSFETs
Magnachip Semiconductor has begun mass production of two new 650V Super Junction MOSFETs.
The chips (MMUB65R090RURH, MMUB65R115RURH) come in an PDFN88 package, which reduces their thickness by approximately 81 percent compared to D2PAK products and 63 percent compared to DPAK products. The overall footprint has been reduced to about 41 percent of D2PAK SJ MOSFETs, according to the company.
The MOSFETs are suited to applications that require compact size and high efficiency, such as OLED TVs, servers, lighting products, laptop chargers and adapters.
