The Swiss electricity producer and energy services provider Alpiq and
Mercedes-Benz Energy GmbH, a manufacturer of automotive energy storage
systems that is wholly owned by Daimler AG, have concluded a delivery
agreement addressing the stationary use of electric car batteries.
As the groundswell of demand for electric mobility builds Audi is moving
to make its growing EV and PHEV ranges ever more accessible through new
models like the e-tron 50, which is now available for UK ordering
priced from £59,900 ($77,870) OTR.
The European battery research project SeNSE has been officially
launched. Over the next four years, five research institutes and six
industrial companies from seven European countries will work together to
find solutions for the next generation of lithium-ion batteries.
The Volvo Low Impact Green Heavy Transport Solutions (LIGHTS) Innovation
Showcase, held at Volvo Trucks’ TEC Equipment dealership’s Fontana
